Shohreh Azima, MFT., Psy.D.
Shohreh Azima is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in
addition to
being a Certified Anger Management Provider.
She has over nine years of experience in clinical psychology, working with “prevention of domestic violence” in families and applies her awareness of this area in the offered anger management programs at Valley Anger Management center.
She enjoys working with multicultural environments and helping clients who have difficulty adjusting to new culture, or are experiencing complexity in dealing with bicultural parenting issues. Shohreh is proficient to work with the Persian (Farsi speaking) and Armenian communities in the San Fernando Valley area. Working with Department of Children and Family Services, the Probation Department in addition to working with adults, children, adolescents, couples, families, and groups.

Majid Mireskandari
Majid Mireskandari, CAMF was born April 7th in Tehran, Iran. Having
studied
Civil Engineering for 3 years at Azad University, Majid was a successful
journalist at his University. He has always had a passion for writing and
keeping the public informed about real life issues. His brilliance glowed when
he was named Journalist of the year.
He finally continued on to the United States and started attending Cal State
University Northridge, majoring in Psychology. He has been President and Vice
President of various clubs such as, American Business Association (ABA) and
Iranian Student Association (ISA).
Despite his busy schedule Majid still finds time to be a television personality on the satellite TV channel, Live Channel by the name of Wake up. which has been airing for a little less than 2 years. On the show Majid talks about about key points involving society’s youth and issues regarding young adults. It airs on Sunday mornings at 10.00 am.
Due to his major and his interest regarding issues on anger and the want to help
people solve their problems, Majid decided to study the Anderson & Anderson
model on anger management. He finds a great satisfaction in helping people but
like he always says, “I’m not here to fix your problem! I’m here to help you
find and fix your problem!”

Mahnaz Azima, CAMF., Fellow, AAAMP
Mahnaz is a Bi-Lingual (English and Farsi) Anger Management
Provider. She is the CEO at Valley Anger Management center. She is an Anger
Management Provider certified by the nationally recognized Anderson & Anderson.
She also is a Fellow Member of the American Association of Anger Management
Providers. She is a licensed certified activity leader, ALCC. She has extensive
experience working with individuals and families helping them to improve their
personal relationships at work, school and marriage. Mahnaz has extensive
experience in helping businesses achieve more success. Currently, she holds one
on one/ executive coaching and weekly stress management, emotional intelligence,
and anger management classes at Direct Funding, Inc., a Real Estate/ Mortgage
Brokerage organization to help them with more successful business.
